Terms of Service
The conditions of your booking and your stay, in plain language.

These terms govern reservations made on pousadacostaverde.com, operated by Pousada Costa Verde (CNPJ 36.257.470/0001-82, Vila do Abraão, Ilha Grande, Angra dos Reis – RJ, Brazil — Cadastur/Ministry of Tourism registered lodging). By completing a booking you confirm you have read and accepted these terms, which are also shown before payment.
1. Booking and payment
- Your reservation is confirmed with a 50% deposit of the total, processed securely by Stripe. The remaining 50% is paid at the pousada at check-in, in Brazilian reais.
- Prices are in Brazilian reais (BRL) and apply to the dates and occupancy stated in the booking. A confirmed booking keeps its contracted price.
- Availability is re-verified in real time at the moment of payment; if the dates were taken in the meantime, no payment is made and nothing is charged.
2. Non-refundable rate and changes
- The rate is non-refundable: on cancellation or no-show, the 50% deposit is not returned. We are a 7-suite house — each booking blocks a room from other guests.
- Date changes can be requested via WhatsApp +55 24 98188-4367 and are accommodated whenever there is availability, at no extra fee beyond any rate difference.
- If a force-majeure event attributable to us makes your stay impossible, you receive a full refund.
3. Your stay
- Check-in: from 14:00 · Check-out: by 11:00. Different times can be arranged via WhatsApp, subject to availability.
- No breakfast. Vila do Abraão has cafés and bakeries a few minutes’ walk away.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Minimum stay: 2 nights.
- Brazilian law requires the FNRH guest registry at check-in, with an ID or passport.
- Guests are responsible for damage to the premises beyond normal wear and tear.
