- Start at Vila do Abraão: Begin your journey at Vila do Abraão, the main village on Ilha Grande. You can easily reach Vila do Abraão by taking a ferry or boat from the mainland.
- Praia do Abraão: From Vila do Abraão, head west towards the beach, and you’ll start at Praia do Abraão.
- Praia Preta: Continue walking west along the coastline, and you will reach Praia Preta. This is a beautiful black sand beach where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery.
- Mirante da Praia Preta (Praia Preta Viewpoint): Near Praia Preta, you’ll find the Mirante da Praia Preta, which offers panoramic views of the coast and the sea. Take some time to appreciate the scenery.
- Ruins of Lazareto (Ruínas do Lazareto): After the viewpoint, you’ll come across the Ruins of Lazareto, which were used as a prison in the 19th century. Explore this historical site.

- Acueduct (Aqueduto): Continue on T1 until you arrive at the Aqueduto, a historical aqueduct on the island.
- Trilha 2 (T2) – Continue the Hike: After visiting the waterfall, continue hiking along T1 until you see signs indicating Trilha 2 (T2). Follow T2.
- Cachoeira da Feiticeira (Feiticeira Waterfall): Continue on T2, and you will eventually arrive at Cachoeira da Feiticeira, a lovely waterfall where you can cool off under the cascading water.
- Praia da Feiticeira: After completing T2, you will arrive at Praia da Feiticeira, a beautiful beach with clear waters and soft sand. Enjoy the beach and the natural surroundings.
For your return journey, you have a few options:
- Hike Back: You can retrace your steps by hiking back along T2 and T1 to Vila do Abraão skipping the waterfall and the Historic Circuit, so the way back should be shorter.
- Boat Ride: Alternatively, you can inquire about boat rides back to Vila do Abraão from Praia da Feiticeira. Boat rides can be a faster and more comfortable way to return.
